D.A. has worked his ass off for a long time just trying to get a fair deal for citizens. The pro-illegal types, of course, hate him. He's been a positive influence on legislation in this state targeting illegals. Keep up the Good Work, Mr. King.He asks that we e-mail/write and /or call to let the legislators know we support these enforcement measures and that all Ga. localities should be in compliance.

This is way too little, way too late and kind of a sham but I'm glad they're doing it, whenever they get around to it. There's no reason they couldn't have been doing this for years. I can be wrong but, to the best of my knowledge, everybody that goes to jail gets fingerprinted. And those fingerprints get fed into a crime data base. Hence, even though you only got arrested for a minor offense, they then find out that you're actually a wanted POS accused of murder or such. For some STUPID reason, ICE didn't allow access to their files about illegals in that data base.
