Gaston County, N.C. Shows Some American Backbone
We need more police and sheriff's departments to do the same thing. Of course, the pro-illegal crowd starts whining about "racially profiling." Georgia passed a law that requires immigration status be checked on every person arrested for a felony or DUI. Why not check every person arrested, PERIOD? No exceptions.
GASTONIA, N.C. – Thursday, Gaston County leaders announced a new partnership with the federal government aimed at identifying and deporting illegal immigrants.
Because only those charged with a crime, and processed at the jail, are screened under the program, some critics argue that the program unfairly targets the Hispanic community. BULLSHIT!
