Don't Make Threats
Look, I understand being pissed at these candy-ass politicians but there is a line. Making threats of violence against them or their families is over the line. I've written plenty of them and chewed their asses out. Especially mentioning that I hope they get booted the hell out of office. But I DON'T make any kind of physical threat.
A state representative who has urged his colleagues to show restraint in what mandates they impose on businesses to help curb illegal immigration said Tuesday that he and his family have received threats in connection with the issue.
"I never thought that I would fear for my safety or the safety of my family when I took a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives," said Rep. Bill Konopnicki, a Safford Republican who owns several restaurants and other businesses.
I don't know this guy but he sounds like a typical pro-cheap labor for business sell-out/traitor. You could write him and say, "I think you're a jerk, traitor, piece of vomit, etc.." You could even mention that you hope he comes down with permanent rectal itch, but NOT make any threats towards his life or safety.
