It's ALWAYS About the Money
I've been saying this for years. Everyone that's looked into this issue knows exactly what's going on and didn't fall for the typical "They only take jobs Americans won't do" LIE. Have you noticed that little mantra hasn't been repeated so much lately? Business wants CHEAP labor and lots of it. They don't give a damn what it costs this country and there are plenty of SCUM politicians that are happy to keep them supplied with cheap labor. At places where ICE enforced the law and illegals got yanked from the workplace business went up on wages to attract legal workers. That's the way the system is supposed to work. In this story, Bush admits his true motivation.
Bush said the immigration system is deeply broken: Employers are not held accountable enough; borders are not secure enough; businesses need workers willing to do low-paying jobs; and the 12 million people estimated to be in the U.S. illegally cannot all be deported and so must be dealt with "without amnesty and without animosity."
"Business needs workers to do low-paying jobs..." Bush finally admits the truth.
