This is Bush's answer to the problem of 12-20 million illegals and another million a year crashing the border. "All those here can stay and we'll double the amount of legal immigration. That will mean fewer trying to crash the border." Totally insane. I've been supportive of Bush on many issues but I've opposed him on this issue from the start.

GLYNCO, Ga. - President Bush attacked opponents of an immigration deal Tuesday, suggesting they "don't want to do what's right for America."

"The fundamental question is, will elected officials have the courage necessary to put a comprehensive immigration plan in place,"

No, the fundamental question is who will be a traitor to this nation? Who will have the spine to stand up as an American and oppose this abomination? Who will pick up the challenge and hurl it back in their seditious faces? Where are all of they who were calling for "The rule of law" a few years back?

Ahh, we do have a great tradition of immigration, legal immigration.

"A lot of Americans are skeptical about immigration reform, primarily because they don't think the government can fix the problems," Bush said.

"And my answer to the skeptics is: give us a chance to fix the problems in a comprehensive way that enforces our border and treats people with decency and respect. Give us a chance to fix this problem. Don't try to kill this bill before it gets moving," Bush told students and instructors at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

You've got to be shittin' me? How many years have you been in office? And how many Presidents have we had since the Surrender of 1986? And we're supposed to believe that another surrender is going to work? Excuse me? Well, sorry Mr. President, but we've been lied to for far too long and don't see any indication that you have ever been serious about enforcing our current immigration laws. And, exactly, what in these new Articles of Surrender address visa overstays? And how many more "troops" are we going to need to enforce these laws? You know what? If only 10% of illegals applying for this new amnesty are disqualified that means another 1.2-2 million absconders running loose. And how many more ICE agents is that going to take? It's going to take years for them just to locate the ones already on their hit list.
