201 Illegals and Other Felony Fugitives Arrested in Vegas
This article doesn't really spell out how many of who got busted. Seems they weren't all illegals. But the one guy that seems likely to be an illegal really caused me to laugh.
Sex offenders and gang members are among the 201 fugitives arrested in Las Vegas during Operation FALCON 2007.
Multiple state and local law enforcement agencies worked with the U.S. Marshals Service during the five-day operation last week. Their focus was to capture individuals wanted on felony charges.
One of the arrested was Raul Jacquez, who was wanted in Mexico for the 2005 alleged slaying of his mother-in-law. He has a long criminal history in the U.S. which includes arrests for narcotics, burglary, weapons offenses and immigration violations. Jacquez was arrested while he was working out at a local health club. Too funny. Long criminal history, wanted for murder, and do they find him hiding in some tent in the woods? hiding at some obscure trailer park living in a shed? Nope, he's having a nice day at the gym.
