Can't families lay the fallen heroes to rest without these assholes wanting to disrupt the service by promoting their agenda. I halfway expect the ACLU or such to appeal this verdict.

@ 01:22 PM (6 months, 14 days ago)

I'm not a party kind of guy, especially on this issue. From what I've seen, illegal immigration isn't a party issue with the people of this country, either. Democrats poll a little softer than republicans but not much. However, with the politicians it's a little different. Most opposition to illegal aliens comes from republican politicians and democratic politicians are usually doing their appeasing best. But as I've noted, not always.

Pro-illegals protest in Phoenix. Sheriff Joe was ready for them.

@ 03:13 PM (6 months, 15 days ago)

The short take: A furniture store owner turned to the sheriff for help with "day laborers", assumed to be illegals, hanging out on his property. So, Sheriff Joe started whatever enforcement measures to help clean the crap out.  Then, of course, the pro-illegals started whining to the heavens and decided to protest at the store. There's a great comment from Arpaio on the video. And a woman on the video starts whining about the Sheriff,  saying he should go after the real criminals, he has many unserved warrants, or such. Humm, wonder how many of those warrants are for illegals that have skipped back over the border?

Lou Dobbs gives Gov. Spitzer HELL

@ 12:35 PM (6 months, 16 days ago)

I'm so glad somebody of note is on Spitzer's ass. Spitzer has gone into damage control mode and is trying to save face. He's incapable of admitting what is so obvious: he's wrong and he knows it. Now, he's proposing a license for illegals if they have a valid passport. Many illegals don't have a valid anything. Some consulates, in an effort to aid and abet their nationals, will, no doubt, be issuing the hell out of passports to anybody that shows up and asks for one.  To me, the funniest part is hearing illegals and their supporters whining because Spitzer has modified his original position.

Again, I ask: How many innocent people have to suffer and or die before this country wakes up and starts enforcing the immigration laws? Many of these deaths and other crimes by illegals ARE preventable if law enforcement would just do their job and check the status of people that are arrested. That won't catch every illegal but it will be an incentive for them to leave AND it can result in criminal illegal aliens NOT being released back to the streets. And spare me the "Oh, but most of them are good, honest, hard-working people trying to have a better life" crap. If they were so honest they wouldn't be here.

Omaha, Nebraska. Gang members and possible associates arrested

@ 12:46 AM (6 months, 20 days ago)

Breaks my heart.

40 in jail. It beats a kick in the pants.

OMAHA, Neb. —  Law enforcement officials arrested 40 people and seized drugs, cash and weapons, seriously denting Omaha operations of a street gang with ties to Central America, officials with several agencies said Tuesday.

The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation of the gang Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13.

Fifteen of those arrested were linked directly to the gang and charged with various gun, drug and immigration violations, First Assistant U.S. Attorney William Mickle said. Ten were charged federally and five faced state charges.

While searching for gang members, authorities arrested 25 people and charged them only with being in the United States illegally, said Bill Wallrapp, resident agent-in-charge of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Gov. Spitzer is a lying, head-in-the-sand, IDIOT

@ 02:36 PM (6 months, 25 days ago)

Geez, it's mind-numbing.

Deport Spitzer

Governor Spitzer said he has no intention of retreating from his contentious effort to grant driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, insisting that the new policy would be more widely embraced if New Yorkers had a better understanding of its benefits. MY ASS. This is the same line of bullshit the pro-amnesty politicians were spewing in the Senate: "If people just had a better understanding then they wouldn't be opposed." These are such lying a-holes.

In an interview with The New York Sun, Mr. Spitzer said he is satisfied with the way his administration rolled out the license policy, saying his staff had prepared for the hostile response to his plan from lawmakers, county officials, and the majority of New Yorkers. I bet his staff had no clue about the HUGE outcry of opposition. They probably thought they could just slip it by with little fanfare. Totally out of touch with reality.

On the national scene, the issue has become a rallying cry for anti-immigration activists, who accuse the governor of encouraging law-breakers and jeopardizing public safety. Among the most persistent critics has been a CNN news anchor, Lou Dobbs, who in a Wednesday evening broadcast called Mr. Spitzer a "spoiled, rich kid brat" for carrying out the policy in the face of heavy public disapproval. Give 'em hell, Lou!!!

"I'm not sure that the number accurately reflects the true public sentiment if it were presented in questions that reflected the underlying facts," Mr. Spitzer told the Sun. "Because when I explain to people that it would require a valid foreign passport and other documentation that could be verified and validated and we will have fewer accidents, lower insurance premiums, and safer streets, people say they support it." TOTALLY out of touch with REALITY.

"I stand and govern based upon principle, not poll numbers. Humility has nothing to do with caving to poll numbers," he said. "Principle is what I've stood for, for nine years, and that's why I was elected by the largest margin by any governor in history." And he will lose re-election by the largest margin in history. His "principle" is to completely ignore the will of the people.

I am grateful for the efforts of Tom Tancredo who has been fighting this issue for years before it was on many people's radar. And I know there are other candidates that are tough on the issue. SADLY, I don't think Tom can carry this issue to the White House.

Gov. Napolitano, Arizona. What's up with Janet?

@ 02:29 PM (6 months, 26 days ago)

This is the same governor that fought tooth and nail against the provisions of Prop 200 (?) several years ago. It cut off services/freebies to illegals. Rumor has it she is running for Senator and sees the writing on the wall on the issue of illegal immigration and how the voters feel about it. Arizona voters kick ass. I love 'em. Now, Janet is on the program, or seems to be. She's totally backing going after employers that hire illegals.

New York. 41 (alleged scum) arrested for fake document mills

@ 12:36 AM (6 months, 27 days ago)

Yeah, Spitzer. Just give them all licenses so they won't have to spend the money buying fake ones. And, of course, people that ignore our laws, show a total contempt of this nation and our borders, are suddenly going to get on the insurance program and be good drivers.

Arpaio still kicking ass

@ 08:04 PM (6 months, 27 days ago)

I love ya,' man. Geez, if only we had 1000 Arpaios we would be close to ending our problems with illegals.  But everyone knows whar's going to happen. Court challenges, screams of racial profiling and violating somebody's rights. It's so predictable.

60 Latino gang members indicted

@ 07:49 PM (6 months, 27 days ago)

Good. I think all gang members should be in prison. Unless the "gang" is the Girl Scouts or something. I don't quite understand the race thing between some blacks and Latinos, but I know it exists.

Illegal charged with 2nd Degree murder in death of off-duty police officer

@ 07:43 PM (6 months, 27 days ago)

I'm a little sensitive to this story for several reasons. Not least of which is the fact that I've driven motorcycles for many years and always have a fear of someone ploughing into me from behind.

ICE busts Nebraska man for using illegals, etc.. Dirtbag pleads "Guilty."

@ 02:10 PM (6 months, 27 days ago)

Woo-Hoo. I want to see more of this. It sends exactly the right message. Hire illegals, defraud the system, lie, cheat and steal, pay the price. Puts a smile on my face.

Lou Dobbs giving Gov. Spitzer hell

@ 12:38 PM (6 months, 27 days ago)

Gov. Spitzer deserves to catch hell over the issue of giving illegal aliens drivers licenses. Spitzer is totally clueless, digging in his heels and ignoring what the people want. He's put a political gun in his mouth and is determined to pull the trigger. He'll hear the "BANG" very clearly at his next election attempt.
