Cynthia Tucker is such a whining, snivelling, spineless, pathetic excuse of a vertebrate that she makes me want to heave technicolor chunks all over my screen.

This mindless ankle-grabbing imbecile thinks that the USA should serve as the nursery to the world and that any and every irresponsible border-jumping illegal alien should be able to simply dump their DNA on our soil then it's up to us to raise them. If these gate-crashers, and children of gate-crashers, are such a huge asset then their home countries should be happy as hell to get them back. Maybe they can help the economies of their native countries and fewer of their law-breaking cousins will crash our borders. 

Cynthia personifies my contention that "Liberals never met a white flag they didn't like" and "Their answer to EVERY issue is appeasement and surrender." Heaven forbid that a thumb-sucking "We are the World" cry baby like Cynthia would take a stand for the rule of law and the sovereignty of this nation.

The Dream Act was nothing but a nightmare of a mini-amnesty that would have, NO DOUBT, affected many more than the needlessly high number of 500,000 illegals she touted in her "Hand me a hanky" editorial.  There would have been, as seen from past experience, massive document fraud and every lying, forgery carrying illegal would've tried to get on that gravy train. These "children" have no one to blame except their irresponsible parents for putting them in this position. These "kids" should be grateful to the United States for picking up the tab for their educations K-12. But, as we know, whatever we do for illegals is never enough. When are we as a nation going to STOP rewarding people for breaking our laws?

The kicker is: There's NOTHING to prevent them from going to college except money or the remote chance they'll be deported. So sad, too bad, they won't get the same breaks as a CITIZEN. And the red herring about their joining the military or going to college for 2 years somehow makes everything ok? It doesn't. By the way, there's some visa program for "immigrants" to join our military as a possible path to citizenship. So, all these little gate-crashers should need to do is sign up for that program. I need to research that some more. I know it exists I just don't know the particulars.

Let's face it: That's a group of striving, straight-arrow immigrants that this country needs as citizens. But the Senate refused to even allow the measure, sponsored by U.S. Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.), to come to the floor for debate. After President Bush came out with a statement opposing the measure shortly before the vote, 36 Republicans and eight Democrats voted "no." That includes Georgia Republicans Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss. Dear Buttface, there's NO shortage of well educated immigrants trying to get in this country, LEGALLY.

Indeed, when he was governor of Texas, he had a reputation as a progressive supporter of hardworking immigrants — no matter how they crossed the border. But now, the president, too, has caved in to the GOP's small-minded, vitriolic Mexican-bashers. BULLSHIT. Typical race-baiting garbage. Dishonest idiots like Cynthia ALWAYS scream "Racist" when anyone opposes rewards for illegal aliens. Ahh, Cynthia, you deceitful lying broom-rider, illegal aliens aren't only Mexicans. Mexican nationals make up about 55% of illegal aliens. I guess Irish illegals don't matter to you? (smirk)

They would dash the dreams of a young man such as Marco, a Georgia Tech engineering student who earned a perfect score on the math portion of his SAT. A graduate of Cross Keys High School in DeKalb County, Marco has been in this country since he was 4 — he's practically American — but his parents entered the country illegally. What sense does it make to deny him a path to citizenship? Well, let me explain it to those twits like Tucker. Rewarding bad behavior only encourages MORE bad behavior. Rewarding the DNA of gate-crashers only encourages more gate-crashers to do the same thing. That's one of the main reasons the ONE TIME amnesty of 1986 FAILED. It sent out EXACTLY the WRONG message.
