Pro-illegals protest in Phoenix. Sheriff Joe was ready for them.
The short take: A furniture store owner turned to the sheriff for help with "day laborers", assumed to be illegals, hanging out on his property. So, Sheriff Joe started whatever enforcement measures to help clean the crap out. Then, of course, the pro-illegals started whining to the heavens and decided to protest at the store. There's a great comment from Arpaio on the video. And a woman on the video starts whining about the Sheriff, saying he should go after the real criminals, he has many unserved warrants, or such. Humm, wonder how many of those warrants are for illegals that have skipped back over the border?
A group took to the streets to protest against the owner of Pruitt’s furniture on Thomas Road near 32nd Street.
The group is upset because the owner, Roger Sensing, turned to the Sheriff’s office to crackdown on day laborers that hung around the area. I'll bet that commercial endorcements are prohibited on a free blog site. I don't know. BUT, if you happen to live in Phoenix, and you happen to need a nice sofa, bed, etc.. why not drop in to see the very fine people at Pruitts's Furniture? *S*
