I've heard of other such stories and it riles me. I try to keep an open mind and consider that in some circumstances being multilingual might be a must but some of what I'm hearing and seeing, like this, is inexcusable. And consider that an employer who requires their employees to learn English is considered a racist hater by some and sued by others. (Remember the Salvation Army suit?) Go figure.

The pro-illegals are having a total meltdown over states enacting anti-illegal alien laws, whether those laws target illegals directly, or indirectly by targeting businesses that hire them. Their standard mantra goes something like, "This is a federal matter and the states shouldn't get involved. We can't have a patchwork of different laws around the country." Bullshit. They know the fed hasn't done jack and the real impact on illegals is coming from state initiatives.

Excellent. This isn't going to solve our problem with millions of gate-crashers but it is a step in the right direction. An inability to get a drivers license has shown itself to be enough of an incentive to cause some illegals to leave. Good. I've grown tired of the cry-baby mantra form the appeasers that goes, "But our roads will be less safe and they're going to drive anyway." Well, they can drive their asses out of the country or, in some places, end up in jail and or have their cars impounded. Just like any American citizen that has lost the right to drive.

They should be grateful to this nation for giving them a free education K-12. Guess what? There are plenty of American citizens that couldn't make the trip to college, either. Some had to make great sacrifices and struggle to afford school. Myself? I paid to go to a community college for a while, got laid off from a job, and never went back. No doubt that the federal government has been adamantly opposed to enforcing our immigration laws and, only recently, have stepped up some enforcement. It's still a scam. The problem with illegal immigration will only be resolved with the participation of the whole country. Several times Murfreesboro police have stopped Hispanic residents with fake driver's licenses.
They wondered where they were coming from. Now they have the answer.
Four illegal immigrants were arrested and charged with creating some of the bogus IDs.
The IDs looked genuine, and the creators went to a lot of trouble using holograms. The words Geneva Convention was printed in one of the corners.
"They're paying $90 for a piece of paper that is completely worthless," Evans said.
The group managed to fool several people. They advertised in Spanish newspapers.
Police found more than a dozen completed applications, 50 blank applications and almost $1,000 in cash.

Carjackers stole a vehicle from a woman at gunpoint and led authorities on a short, high-speed chase Monday that ended with the suspects breaking through a barrier at International Bridge I and fleeing into Mexico, police said."Once they are in Mexico – we can't go in there to get them," said Laredo Police spokesman Jose E. Baeza, noting that in the heat of the moment police had no time to call bridge officials for assistance.
According to Baeza, the vehicle sped passed the tollbooth, causing minor damage, then crashed into the arm that raises once a toll is paid.
"The chase didn't last very long because he was near the bridge, anyway," Baeza said. "The vehicle, basically it just crashed its way all the way to Nuevo Laredo.
"The vehicle did succeed into fleeing into Mexico," he added.
Mucia Dovalina, chief CBP officer and uniformed public affairs liaison, said the car plowed its way past the barricades that are set up at the Bridge I site.

This comes up every so often. Basically, ICE doesn't have the resources to go after and process all the illegals they may have reported to them. So, they target the worst and let the others go until another day. My take: Every damned illegal identified in our jails should be turned over to ICE after serving their sentences for whatever additional crime got them arrested. I said this long ago: If this country ever gets serious about immigration enforcement there'll be wailing and the gnashing of teeth like never seen before. And that's happening, even though this country still hasn't gotten serious. Most of the efforts are coming from a state and local level. Basically, the illegals are on the ropes, they see the tide of public sentiment rising up against them and they're fighting back with every bullshit excuse they can dream up.

It NEVER stops.
Dear Gate-crashers,
We don't hate you, I certainly don't. We just want you to leave. You broke the rules. You showed a total contempt for our laws, our borders and this nation. Now that the heat is getting turned up you cry to the heavens. To me, it's like crack dealers whining over stepped up enforcement. There's no reason for any of you to live in fear, you can LEAVE anytime. So quit your whining and start packing.
This is a feigned indignity group of cry babies trying to dummy-up anything they can concoct to whine about.
Get out.
A national immigrant advocacy organization on Thursday released a report that accused U.S. officials of stepping up workplace raids and immigration sweeps to "instill fear in communities." Ahh, no. They're enforcing the laws to a very limited degree and because that's something we haven't seen in this country in many years the pro-illegals are wetting themselves.
Arnoldo Garcia, the director of the Immigrant Justice & Rights Program at NNIRR, described a "climate of hate and intolerance and bigotry" against immigrants in much of America. Well, I admit to gaining an intolerance and loathing of whining cry babies. He said the report raises important questions about the timing and legality of recent immigration raids, citing a sweep last year in New Haven, Conn., that was conducted two days after the city approved issuing a municipal ID card that would allow all residents — regardless of their citizenship — to access certain city services. Oh, I've heard this feigned crap before. The FACT is that the raid was planned long before any such illegal alien ass-kissing that the city decided to do.
"When they do those raids, it's a scary thing for people to see," Garcia said. "It intimidates people into giving up their rights. It's very deliberate."

They should support the Border Patrol and anytime the Border Patrol has any problem with illegals, suspected smugglers, scumbags trying to our-run them, etc.. there should be an Apache attack helicopter there within 10 minutes. And if there is a hostile act towards any of our law enforcement officers then they should be authorized to engage the perps up to the point of blowing their asses off the road.

This is sick.
WTF?
The director of an antigang organization here that sought to reduce gun violence and received $1.5 million from the City of Los Angeles pleaded guilty on Thursday to charges that he sold illegal assault weapons to a federal undercover agent.
“Here is a guy who represented himself to the city as being a former gang member helping others to get out of gangs,” said Gary Hearnsberger, head of the Hardcore Gang Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, “and he is convicted of selling illegal weapons as a side business.”
Mr. Marroquin founded the group No Guns in 1996, after he told the city and others that he had severed ties with the 18th Street Gang. The district attorney’s office, however, says it believes Mr. Marroquin is still active in that gang as a “shot caller,” a high-ranking member who gives orders but plays a less visible role.
From 2003 to 2006, No Guns received $1.5 million from L.A. Bridges, a project financed by the city that tries to help youth at risk of recruitment into gangs. Mr. Hearnsberger said the city cut financing to the program in 2006 after Mr. Marroquin’s son, Hector Marroquin Jr., was convicted of a home invasion robbery. The younger Mr. Marroquin had headed outreach programs at No Guns.
The first time federal agents bought a rifle from the elder Mr. Marroquin was in September 2006. At the time, he was out on bail from a misdemeanor charge of unlawful gun possession, said Mr. Harmon. Agents arrested him after two more weapons sales.

Some pro-illegal groups warn illegals not to get caught with these bogus documents. BUT I rarely hear stories of illegals getting prosecuted for carrying fake documents. Usually it's more likely to be an instance where people are running ID mills or charges that are tacked on to other offenses. To me, it's sad that we're seeing this on a county by county basis. This should be the bare minimum the federal government should mandate: Every jail in this nation should screen for illegal aliens. But this beats a kick in the ass. And get ready for the standard pro-illegal playbook talking points.

The ALLEGED illegal alien slime that he hired, ALLEGEDLY twice, is ALLEGED to have murdered a Houston police officer. Are you paying attention, Phoenix Police Chief Harris, you candy-ass? The same police Chief that said, "If you were in my position, would you take those very limited resources and divert them to go after landscapers and dishwashers because they're in the country illegally? Sorry. I've been a cop for 36 years. I disagree with that concept." The ALLEGED murdering filth was a landscaper.

It really doesn't bother me when I simply disagree with someone. They want another amnesty, I don't. It's all the lies and deceit that really pisses me off. Why lie? Why be deceitful? Don't these pro-illegal jerks have an iota of integrity or honor? Not that I see. I've never seen such a bunch of lying, dishonest, word-mincing dirtbags in my life. And their lies and deceit have become their playbook responses to every iota of enforcement aimed at illegal aliens. They don't want to see ANY enforcement, they want an amnesty. And they'll tell any lie, commit any deception, bend any truth in an attempt to mislead. "Eww, a hater."

We allow more legal immigration than the rest of the world combined. Yet, to some, that's still not enough. Over a million people are allowed into this country every year. I'm not certain if that's on a permanent visa status and/or a visa status leading up to permanent resident. No matter what, we let in a helluva lot people. Keep that in mind when you hear the whiners claiming how hard it is to get here. So what? Who said it was supposed to be easy? What country has an open door immigration policy? That's why I have a lot of respect for those that came here the right way and went through the process to become citizens. But it's also one of the reasons I have contempt for those that ignored our laws, hid out for a while, then think they are entitled to citizenship.

Sometime soon, I may compile a list of states that have already passed anti-illegal alien laws and those that are very likely to in 2008. So far, the trend is growing as American voters are pressuring the politicians to take action. And the obvious focus of these laws is ENFORCEMENT. That's the one ingredient that's been missing for all these years. I firmly believe that the actions of states and localities are having a stronger effect than the efforts of the federal goverment. No doubt that Arizona is leading the way.

Reading between the lines it sounds like they want to have a system like the one in Georgia. Not far enough but a big step in the right direction. And all the standard playbook rhetoric comes out. "The 'immigrant communtiy' will be afraid to report crimes..." Bullshit. Besides, the obvious answer is very simple. If the gate-crashers aren't here then nobody has to be concerned with illegals being witnesses, or victims, or perps. *S*

This sucks but there may be some other dynamics in play. The short take: Some businesses and others have been challenging Arizona's new anti-illegal alien hiring laws. As I recall, this judge tossed a couple of the challenges saying that they didn''t show damages or legal standing. So, some slime employer admitted he knowingly hired illegals and was/would be damaged if forced to toss them, but the lawyers wanted his identity kept secret.

Yes, I know some come from beyond dirt poor, but don't buy into that rhetoric as if that's an excuse for crashing our borders nor assume it applies to all of them. Mexico's second largest source of revenue is cash remittances from their foreign nationals or expatriates. There are other countries where it's their #1 source of revenue. I don't know where that ranks in Chile. But the mindset that anyone and everyone has the right to cross our border is mind-numbing. And, as we've seen, some people actually believe that if they break-in and hide out for a few years then they're entitled to all the rights and privileges of any American citizen. What hypocritical scumbags. Think Chile or Mexico would go for that?

This is more of a political statement than actually taking a serious stand. But, at least, it's the right message. There are two main thrusts of anti-illegal laws. One targets benefits, the other targets the employers. There are some associated targets such as cutting off drivers licenses and targeting illegals arrested for other crimes by screening arrestees at the jails. But, as most can clearly see, there's a growing movement towards ENFORCEMENT. Wonder if the fed and Congress are paying attention?

Groan. The challenges will never stop. The pro-illegal and pro-cheap labor groups are in defense mode, losing ground all across the country, and are fighting against nearly every law targeting illegal aliens. Surprisingly, I haven't heard about any legal challenge to Georgia's laws. Could be because they're fairly limited in scope, targeting mainly those illegals arrested for other crimes and contractors doing business with the state.

Short version. Home Depot hired Phoenix police to run off day laborers hanging out on their property. The day laborers ended up at Pruitt's Furniture. Pruitt's hired Phoenix PD to run them off. A pro-illegal/day labor advocate (Reza) who was running a day labor center helped organize a demonstartion against Pruitt's. The mayor, Reza, and Pruitt's reached an agreement that Pruitt's would stop running off illegals as Reza agreed to open another day labor center in that area. It never happened.

I get so tired of this. Not mentioned is whether or not the illegal had prior arrests and was released without anyone checking his status. If the state would step up then the localities wouldn't need to draft new legislation, they'd just abide by the state's laws. The mantra of the pro-illegal and pro-cheap labor bunch is "It's a federal matter, there are already laws on the books..." Translation: The federal government hasn't done jack about hiring illegals in ages. The businesses that cheat the system have had it very easy, only recently have they stepped up enforcement and the number of employers getting prosecuted is very small. Hence the reason more states and localities are drafting laws targeting those that hire illegal aliens.
