Is telling the truth about illegal immigration "Hate speech?"
I don't think so but it seems the pro-illegals and thumb-suckers see it differently. I don't get cable and haven't in years, so I'm not very familiar with Dobbs and others but I do know this, the pro-illegals would like Dobbs off the air. I know this from experience: "NOTHING pisses people off more than the truth." And I know this: The "Left" feels they have the right and duty to shout-down anyone and everyone with whom they disagree.
I'm perfectly ok when people disagree with me. I'm not always right and everyone is entitled to an opinion. What grates my cheese is when people are deliberately deceitful and lying. I perceive that some in the pro-illegal camp feel that being deceitful and lying is perfectly justifiable if it helps them achieve their goal of another amensty.
The country's leading Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization is set to begin a campaign targeting several newscasters and presidential candidates for what it deems "rhetoric that demonizes immigrants and Hispanic Americans." As per their playbook, they NEVER want to draw any line between legal immigrants and illegal aliens.
The National Council of La Raza, which includes nearly 300 affiliated organizations, will launch a new initiative on Thursday titled "We Can Stop The Hate," aimed at curtailing the influence of CNN's Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck as well as MSNBC political commentator Pat Buchanan. In addition, the organization is petitioning for Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee to renounce the endorsement of Jim Gilchrist, a cofounder of the Minuteman Project, an anti-immigration group.
"The immigration issue deserves serious debate and serious solutions," said MurguĂa. "We cannot have that debate as long as hate has the floor." Translation: "We don't have a chance if people are allowed to tell the truth. So, let's silence them."
