Woo-hoo. Good for these guys. I'm going to assume these guys are legal immigrants and my only comment to them is "Good work, learn English." The obvious question is why they didn't call the police, first? But many things could explain that. They might have acted almost instantly out of fear that the guy was going to run. There might be a reward. Who knows? But, at least, there's one less ACCUSED murdering scum on the streets.

I continually harp about illegals who aren't deported after serving their sentences for any crime you can think of, but to see the dollar amount of monitoring illegals who shouldn't be here is mind-numbing. Then to consider the number of repeat offenders, geez. How many have to die at the hands of such people before this nation gets a grip?

Why not let the people vote?
Just got a notice from The Dustin Inman Society: "
I am sorry to not have gotten this out sooner.
HR 413 was voted on in the Georgia House yesterday...Pro-English Americans needed 120 votes to allow the Resolution to move on to the Senate. The anti-English crazies won the day - we only got 103 ( or 102, I am not sure which) The Resolution merely allows voters to decide for themselves in November if the Georgia constitution will be amended to make English the official language of government in our state.
This terrifies the open borders lobby and the far left.
It apparently scares some Republicans too - several voted NO, and worse, several lacked the courage to take a position and walked out of the House Chamber before the voting began. They did not vote.
WE HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE. THE BILL'S AUTHOR HAS ASKED FOR A RECONSIDERATION TODAY WE NEED MORE CALLS AND E-MAILS AS SOON AS YOU GET THIS ALERT!
Contacting the Reps who voted NO will have an effect if enough of us take the time. I have spoken with activists all over Georgia who are organizing a call/e-mail effort yesterday and this morning. PLEASE HELP US!!!...Or get used to the official multilingual state the illegal alien lobby is pushing for. Right now the Georgia driver's license test is given in FOURTEEN LANGUAGES!
The group of names below are the most important, please call them all if you can - if not, call the Republicans...( RINO comes to mind here.)
In your calls, just leave a message with the staffer who answers to "please ask the Representative to vote YES on allowing Georgians to vote for English as our official language in NOVEMBER".
NOTE:
X = DID NOT VOTE ON HR 413 - OR HAVE THE COURAGE TO TAKE A POSITION ON ALLOWING THE CITIZENS OF GEORGIA TO VOTE ON THEIR OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF GOVERNMENT.
NO = VOTED NO on HR 413 AND THEREBY REFUSED TO TAKE A CHANCE ON CITIZENS OF GEORGIA VOTING TO AMEND THE GEORGIA CONSTITUTION TO MAKE ENGLISH THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF GOVERNMENT IN GEORGIA.
David Casas (R 103-Lilburn, 404.656.0254) - X
Jill Chambers (R 81-Atlanta, 404.656.3949) - X
Edward Lindsey (R 54-Atlanta, 404.656.0298) - No
Judy Manning (R 32-Marietta, 404.656.7868) - No

Hardie Davis ( D Gracewood 404 656 0325) NO - ( Davis in a response to a plea to change his vote to YES: "We have thousands of languages as a result of the Wisdom of God")
Yikes....
HERE is an assembly of E addresses for all of the Reps ( who had an email address) who voted NO - PLEASE send a polite but firm note using this as a paste- in address. It will go to all of them. "Please allow Americans to vote on English as our constitutional official language in November..."

Dear Maine,
Get you heads out of the sand and demand that your traitorous candy-assed politicians take a stand for this nation and STOP rewarding illegal aliens and making life easier for them.
Accused dirtbag.
BANGOR, Maine—A New Jersey faces charges following his arrest for allegedly bringing illegal aliens to Maine to get driver's licenses.
Anderson Dos Santos, 30, of Newark, appeared in U.S. District Court on Thursday after being charged with harboring or transporting illegal aliens. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
Dos Santos allegedly told a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent that it was well-known in the Brazilian immigrant community in New Jersey that it was easy for illegal aliens to get driver's licenses in Maine. The state does not require proof of citizenship or proof of residency to get a driver's license.
The ICE agent, who had been investigating illegal aliens coming to Maine to get licenses, made the arrest after finding Dos Santos and two women at a Bureau of Motor Vehicles office in Augusta, according to court documents.
The women admitted they were in the U.S. illegally, according to court records. They were taken into custody but not charged in federal court. Dos Santos was released on unsecured bail. WHAT??? "Unsecured bail???" Ahh, anybody taking any bets on if this ALLEGED scumbag shows up for court? They want him to skip out so the story will die. They don't want anymore headlines showing what a totally screwed up system they have in place.

I'm sure I've posted about this before. Basically, along some areas of the border the authorities aren't simply letting all the illegals go back to Mexico, they're running them thru the courts and giving them jail time. GOOD IDEA. There needs to be a penalty. But, sadly, there aren't enough courts, lawyers, jails, etc.. so they're trying to do what they can. Of course they're inundated but as word travels there will be fewer crossers. Fewer crossers can equal a higher percentage prosecuted.

How many more need to die before this country gets serious? The appeasers always advocate surrender, "Just give them licenses..." or they try to make excuses, "But American citizens commit crimes, too..." Yeah, but the difference is that these crimes/deaths at the hands of illegals are completely preventable if this nation would simply enforce the laws. If this nation enforced the laws then this alleged piece of drunken, murdering shit wouldn't be here and the victim would still be alive. This boggles the mind. But there was some slack-jawwed judge in some state's locality that wouldn't prosecute an illegal for driving without a license because he felt it was unfair because the illegal couldn't legally obtain a license. There are some seriously screwed-up human beings in this world. What's next, not prosecuting car thieves because the owner locked his doors?

During a routine traffic stop Monday afternoon near Buford, Gwinnett County police found ten illegal immigrants whom authorities say may have been involved in an Arizona-based human smuggling ring.
She said the man told officers he was taking his passengers to New York for a job, but that there was no luggage in the vehicle and the only possessions the occupants had was what they were wearing. Spellman said six people were hidden under blankets in the bed of the truck, and there were also four people in the cab. All are illegal immigrants from Puebla, Mexico, she said, ranging from 16 to 41 years in age. Some of them still had Mexican pesos. The driver of the truck has been identified as 28-year-old Jose Santiago Cruz. Gwinnett police contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who have taken over investigation of the case. "ICE agents did tell our officers that they believe these people may have been involved in a human smuggling ring that's based out of Phoenix, Az.," Spellman said. Ya' think?

All of this was completely predictable. I, and many others, have seen this coming. All the naysayers whining about how the illegals weren't going to leave, no amount of enforcement was going to stop them, what are you going to do, use cattle cars, the economy sky is falling, etc.. have grown quiet. They still whine about the economic impact and, as always, it's RACIST! Oh, another thing that cracks me up. The same ones saying illegals won't leave ae the ones that argue that illegals only want to come and work for a little while. Yeah, right. Dear Gate-crashers,
You do NOT have the right to be here. Sadly, the USSC decided that the American taxpayer has to pick up the tab for your educations, up until the time you get caught and your ass thrown the hell out.
In this instance a cop encounters an illegal outside a school and she gets tossed. Cry me a river. Personally, I think we should screen every student's immigration status but I don't think our laws see it that way. I do like the fact that many suspected illegals decided to stay home rather than go to school out of fear. Better still would be if they left this country.
Go cry to your mommas but don't come crying to me.

All too many times some illegal alien, working as a "contractor," is arrested after committing some crime against someone that hired them or at some home where they were sent to work. They come back and assault the homeowner. Or maybe they are "contracted food service workers," or such, at some school and assault some school girls. It happens.

This is sick and, as is so often the case, the article leaves several unanswered quesions. Was the murdering slime arrested previously for other offenses then let go like any other citizen? Were the victims or their family illegals? Keep these stories in mind the next time you hear somebody wanting to hire illegals off of a street corner to bring to their home and do yard work or such. Russian roulette.

I do have sympathy for some land owners on a bunch of levels. But keep this in mind, our goverment is not serious about securing the border and even if there were no illegal crossings we'd still have illegals coming in by visas. A "wall" isn't going to solve our problems and I think it's gotten too much focus. But I know it's been VERY effective in some areas.

This should be happening every day. It should be so common that it's not even news worthy unless they arrest over 200 illegals and the company owners.

This is another one of the problems with our open borders and jack-shit enforcement. The pro-illegals have long contended that this is just a scare tactic. Well, if I got leprosy from an "immigrant" I'd be afraid, of my jewels rotting off.

Again, why no arrests of the employers? One big CEO going to jail could equal thousands and thousands of illegals getting fired. Some big honcho goes to jail, the other honchos see it, and they'd change their sinful ways. As seen in other cases, the employers can get charged later. Sadly, the HR guys get scapegoated and the big cheese gets a pass.

Much of this is totally predictable but not all. Besides supporting Code Pink and telling the Marines that they are "uninvited and unwelcome intruders" what really bites my ass is the way they, now, lie about it. You'll see what I mean. And be sure to check out the video on the upper left side of their page. And notice the jerk who says, "I want to torture people, too. Can I join the Marines?

Dear employers of illegals,
Get on the program or lose your licenses.
Woo-Hoo
PHOENIX - A federal judge on Thursday upheld an Arizona law that prohibits businesses from knowingly hiring illegal immigrants and yanks the businesses licenses of those that do.
U.S. District Judge Neil Wake's ruling was a defeat to employers who argued the law was an unconstitutional attempt by a state to regulate immigration, traditionally the federal government's responsibility.
Wake rejected arguments by business groups that federal immigration law severely restricts Arizona's ability to punish people who knowingly employ illegal immigrants.

One is more of a statement but the other targeting those that drive without a license, just breaks my heart. And, as always, we hear the standard playbook rhetoric of the pro-illegals whenever ANY law gets passed that might affect gate-crashers, "They're going to be racially profiling." Give it a rest you lying, whining little twits. Funny, I thought illegals were of every race.

Another skimpy article. Was this man or the other, with whom he was exchanging money, an illegal? Were they involved in some illegal activity like drug or human smuggling? How much money? Five years for trying to run over a police officer sounds a little light.

Excellent. We need more like him. But he needs to know that he can't run on the one issue of illegal immigration, he needs to define himself as more than a one issue pony. As mentioned before and is obviously the tactic from his upcoming opponent, the best way to blunt an issue that your opponent might beat you over the head with is to simply adoptthat same position. Hence, Barletta who is very strong against illegal immigration is causing his opponent to take a similar stance, whether he means it or not.

This is a given. MANY illegals and their supporters are holding out in the hope that a weak President and Congress will pass another amnesty. The best thing that could have happened from my perspective was for a real "No amnesty" hard-ass to be elected, but that wasn't likely. Even Mitt, despite some of his anti-amnesty statements, favored even more legal immigration. Hunter, Tancredo, Thompson and Paul had anti-amnesty, strong border, positions but I don't think they were ever really viable candidates. Huckabee??? The Presidency isn't so much about policies as popularity. Who can best be marketed to the people. I am in total shock that McCain is to be the GOP's candidate. It doesn't speak well of the GOP or the slate of contenders.

I'm so tired of these stories. Another innocent American killed by an illegal, another woman or child raped, somebody else injured for life. And all this damage completely preventable if this government would simply enforce the laws. Our federal government has no intention of seriously securing our borders nor enforcing our immigration laws. They don't give damn how many children are raped or Americans die, business wants cheap labor.

I oppose this at this time. WHY, at a time when we have 12-20 million illegals running loose, is there a "shortage" of farm workers? And the answer is: Why stay and work on the farm for $8 an hour when you can work construction for $12 an hour? It's about the money. My first question to anyone saying they're having a problem finding labor, "How much are you paying?" It's about the MONEY. It's ALWAYS about the money.

So, they need to appease the Code Pink slime and ease the total outrage coming from the rest of this nation. Should be interesting to watch.

The vehicle getting impounded isn't automatic if, for example, there's another person in the car that holds a valid license. I'm very certain that this isn't the only jurisdiction that will impound your car if you don't have a license. The reason the pro-illegal are having a fit is because so many illegals don't give a damn about having a license and drive anyway. Hence, there's likely to be a majority of cars impounded from "Hispanics." The pro-illegals will then scream that the police are racially profiling. Not only should they impound the cars the drivers should all be screened for legal status.

There's a long history of migrants crossing over to work. There are a lot of ties. But no matter what, they are now realizing they can't jsut sit there and do nothing. There are a destination state for illegals leaving Arizona and Oklahoma. A sudden influx of illegals causes a lot of stress and strain in a whole lot of ways.

There are laws and there are laws. As we know, Oklahoma and Arizona really did the right thing and their laws are having a strong impact. Some states are passing laws that are little more than political statements. This seems a little weak but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Any step towards enforcement is a step in the right direction.

GROAN. The pro-cheap labor plantation owners and supporters oppose EVERY bit of legislation that cuts off a supply of CHEAP labor. As I recall, they've already lost a couple of suits in Oklahoma AND a federal judge in Missouri recently ruled that states and localities do have the right to deny business licenese to businesses that employ them. I'm not sure what the basis of the Oklahoma suit is about: "Unfair and undue burden..." Go cry to your mommies.

Good. The sad part, as is so often the case, is that this murderer had been arrested before, but apparently, nobody bothered to check his immigration status or notify ICE and have his ass deported.
