This is so disgusting and transparent. Does anyone think these, not all, Catholics would be so supportive of illegal aliens if most illegals were Muslims or atheists? If they're out to save souls and win converts is there some reason that this Bishop and others of like mind can't go to where those that need their services live, rather than aiding and abetting them here? I believe these laws have already withstood several challeges but the pro-illegals and plantation owners can't stand it.

Dear Bishop Slattery,

Go to Somalia, go to Ecuador, go to Ireland, or go to hell for all I care. But stop trying to feed your collection plates off the law-abiding backs of the American people.

Roman Catholic Bishop Edward J. Slattery has received judicial approval to file a "friend-of-the-court" brief in a case that asks a Tulsa County judge to declare Oklahoma's new immigration law unconstitutional.

Slattery and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Tulsa applied Thursday to submit a brief in support of the position of plaintiff Michael C. Thomas.

In a pastoral letter made public in November, Slattery called the immigration law immoral. "IMMORAL!!!???" Ahh, would love to have a little conversation with this dishonest SOB and have him explain to me what's moral about aiding and abetting criminals that have shown a total contempt for our laws, our borders and this nation. And he can explain why they should be rewarded for their contempt when we have millions that come in the right way. Then he can explain the morality of the countless thousands that are murdered, robbed, raped, molested, etc.. by illegals every year.
