Help needed at the Dustin Inman Society

@ 12:14 AM (5 months, 29 days ago)

D.A. King is basically a crusader that's been fighting this battle almost single handed for years. Unlike the pro-illegals, he doesn't get money from the plantation owners and other special interest groups. He's had to fight it on his own. Yeah, wouldn't it be great if Swift donated a large sum to the Dustin Inman Society to keep up the fight to inform the public? Ain't NEVER going to happen.

Anyway, this is part of an email he sent out. It sucks asking for help but he sure deserves it. And even though I'm sinking I can still kick in a few bucks.

Email:

Dear Dustin Inman Society friends:

I am not good at this part. When I quit my own business to struggle for secure borders, stop a repeat of the failed 1986 amnesty and try to get legislation passed on the state level here in Georgia to slow illegal immigration, I really didn't stop to think about money.

I have spent all of ours and am out of places to borrow or stocks to sell. I am asking again for some help in keeping up the fight to do what our government should already be doing. As I am told by reporters, legislators and people who write to us from all over the nation, the Dustin Inman Society is making a difference. It is a lot of hard work and I am grateful for your kind words of support.

I cannot pay the Dustin Inman Society's Webmaster for the last two months. It is very possible that I will have to scale back or stop the work we do from here if I cannot find some financial help.

Today, I am asking for some help from everyone on this list. ( Except you Gerardo) If everyone here sent a $50.00 donation, we could plan on continuing for the rest of the year. A $25.00 donation from everyone would help pay some bills accrued from our efforts and keep us going through the summer.

I have asked for help before, and it is absolutely the most humiliating thing I have ever done. Despite the thousands of phone calls, e-mails of very kind words of support and "THANK YOU D.A. - KEEP IT UP D.A. !... " Never have more than 10% of the people on the list helped with financial support.

I can assure you all that the big money behind GALEO, MALDEF and the countless other open borders illegal aliens support groups are never going to run out of money. They are funded by tax deductible donations from the same businesses that depend on the illegal labor to boost their bottom line.

Short story: It is not possible to continue the work of DIS much longer without help. It costs each time I send out an alert to make everyone aware of needed calls or emails on pending legislation. I will try to keep doing that as much as possible until the end of the Georgia legislative session - there are 10 legislative days remaining in the 2008 session, which will last at least the rest of this month. After that, my plan is to post information on the DIS blog page and hope that many of you will remember to check there each day.

I will never stop fighting the organized crime of illegal immigration, but to be most effective, I need your help in calls and emails to our elected officials.

PLEASE remember, no matter who is elected president in November, like last year, we will be fighting another legalization proposal after the elections. We will need organization and a way to get the word out quickly and efficiently.

If you can help with a non-tax deductible contribution, please see here.

Thank you all for your courage in standing up to the well-funded open borders lobby - including a large portion of our federal government.

For those of you who are new to the DIS list, I am including a personal bio below.
