Cracks me up. Because of jack for enforcement all these years they're now having a screaming fit because there's SOME enforcement going on and most of it is coming from the states, not our candy-assed federal government. Blows my mind the way they feel entitled to all the rights and privileges of any citizen.

What part of "Get out" do they not understand?

More than 50 people, many of them Hispanic, lined the walls of the Kalamazoo City Commission chambers Monday as a coalition of social action groups urged city leaders to support more rights for undocumented aliens.

Advocates claimed denying driver's licenses to people without proper paperwork forces immigrants to drive illegally and risk deportation if they are stopped by police. The advocates also criticized the Kalamazoo County Clerk's office for denying marriage licenses to couples without documentation. Simple solution: GET OUT.

In addition to the issues related to driver's and marriage licenses, the advocates also criticized what they called ``raids on immigrant homes'' and said they opposed federal rules requiring employers to verify workers' immigration status. Heaven forbid that the laws get enforced.

``The problem is the lack of federal adoption of an immigration policy that is more than just an iron fist,'' Cooney said. Iron fist? My ass. Enforcement is still anemic as hell, way too much of a show. I'd like to see some SERIOUS efforts form the federal government. If out government was serious about securing the border they could do it in about 30 days. They have no intentions of seriously enforcing the laws or securing the border.
