US teen girls caught hauling lots of marijuana across border

There's more going on here than meets the eye.

Busted. But who's behind this?

About 11 a.m., a high-school student was caught walking across the bridge with 25 pounds of marijuana concealed in five cans of hominy and jalapeño peppers, officials said. The girl, 17, is a U.S. citizen who lives in Juárez, officials said. She was turned over to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office for prosecution.

Shortly after 4 p.m., a 17-year-old El Paso girl drove a 1994 Pontiac van with 129 pounds of marijuana in the ceiling and the floor, officials said. The girl, a U.S. citizen, was turned over to the El Paso Police Department. I knew lots of weird and crazy people in high school. I never even heard of a girl hauling anything like the amount of pot they're talking about in this incident.
