US sends 23 million in aid to secure border...of Egypt

This is mind-numbing. Our government has no serious intentions of securing our borders but we spend who knows how much securing the borders of other nations.

And, again, I'll remind people of two facts: 1. A "Fence" will not solve our problem with illegal aliens. 40% of illegals come into this country on visas and simply never leave. 2. The effects from state initiatives such as Arizona and Oklahoma will have a stronger impact on illegals crossing than what we've seen from our government. Yet, wait and see, our government will claim that crossings are down because of stepped-up enforcement and not even mention the states' impact. The current economy also plays its part as construction, etc.. falls off.

To hell with our borders, secure Gaza.

America transfers $23 million worth of aid to Egyptians, agrees to send engineering teams to assist in locating smuggling tunnels; budget also for building sturdier fence on Gaza-Egypt border
