Pro-criminals whine about pending legislation in Georgia
SCREW THEM. They took out any mention of illegals but that's where a lot of it's going. That's why this snot-nosed pro-illegal geek is boo-hoo-ing about it.
House Bill 978 was reworked in the Senate Public Safety Committee and now contains no reference to illegal immigrants or language allowing vehicle seizures.
Motorists who were never issued a license would have their cars impounded if police catch them driving, according to the bill, which is headed for a vote on the Senate floor. Impounded or forfeited?
Any vehicle impounded under HB 978 will only be released to an owner with an unexpired driver's license, something illegal immigrants are unable to obtain and some Georgians simply don't have, said Jerry Gonzalez, executive director for the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials.
"Again, it goes into the whole vicious cycle that undocumented immigrants don't have access to driver's licenses," Gonzalez said. What cycle? It's VERY simple: If you don't have a license then don't drive. If you've never had a license then get one. And if you're an illegal you're not entitled to a license nor entitled to be in this country so take a hint and get out.
"Just because we put lipstick on a pig does not make it anything other than a pig," Gonzalez told the subcommittee. He called it an "overreaction to a broken immigration system."
Geez, it wouldn't surprise me if Jerry Gonzalez used lipstick. Yeah, he can dress like a man and pee standing up but he'll never be anything other than a whining little fear-mongering cry baby to me.
