More on Arpaio's "Round-up" of illegals.
YAWN. There was no ROUND UP. The only thing he did was saturate an area with law-enforcement. Police departments do that all the time. Heavy crime area? Then send in a ton of cops for a few days and make a statement. Maybe arrest a bunch of low level drug dealers, hookers, etc...
I understand that people get heated over this issue and other issues. BUT I do not advocate violence. I do not hate illegals. I do not blame illegals for every problem in this country. I have a degree of contempt for illegals as they've shown a total contempt of this nation and our laws. Most of my anger is directed at a government that adamantly refuses to enforce the law. Secure the border and Enforce the laws. What's radical, racist or extremist about that? And because our federal government won't enforce the laws, more and more states and localities are doing that job. Honestly, that's what it's going to take. We can't expect the fed to do it all and those candy-asses that try to pass the buck with that silly mantra of, "That's a federal matter and we don't want to get involved" are disgusting, head-in-the-sand, morons.
On Friday, Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s crime suppression operation ended earlier than normal after a passionate display by both supporters and protestors got tense.
Two people were arrested. A Hispanic man was charged with disorderly conduct. Also charged was a white man who showed up to the demonstration with a loaded shotgun.
Protest organizers were so worried for the safety of the people congregated that they asked them to go home. Once the protestors left, Sheriff Joe Arpaio supporters also cleared the area. Shortly after that, deputies packed up and drove away.
As for the Operation itself, MCSO says it arrested more than 30 people. Of them, 16 are believed to have entered the country illegally. MCSO says, of those, one was from Honduras, one was Guatemalan, one from The Federated States of Micronesia, an Island of Guam, and the rest were Mexican Nationals. Ewww, what a massive "round-up."
