Pro-illegals and their total hypocrisy.

@ 09:44 PM (13 days, 11 hours ago)

Looking up Mexico's immigration laws and looking over Mayor Villaraigosa's comments about wanting ICE to halt workplace "raids" focused me on a few facts which need to be hammered home, again and again. The pro-illegals are total hypocrits in so many of their arguments and are deceitful as hell.

A few examples and think about how many times you've heard this BS.

"They need to go after real criminals. Their only crime is working to support their families." How many crimes do you have to commit to be considered a criminal? The fact is that illegal entry into this country is a federal misdemeanor. Unauthorized re-entry after being deported is a felony. Carrying and using false federal documents is a felony. Lying and cheating on taxes can land any citizen in jail. And as to the "..only crime is working..." so what? You could say the same thing about any number of criminals.

"You're splitting-up families." Go cry to your mommas. A few more facts to put that garbage argument in perspective. Citizens' families are "split-up" all the time when a parent commits a crime and goes to jail. I don't recall a convicted forger ever saying, "Hey, you can't put me in prison, I have children." I'm sure that's something defense lawyers might try to argue but I don't think it has "legs." Here's another little point to ponder which leads into my next counter-argument. The FACT is that illegals leave their families behind all day long. They may try to sneak their families in after they get established.

The fact is that illegals decide to come here in total disregard of our laws. Some decide to have children or bring their children along. They do this knowing that they are subject to arrest and deportation at any time. Then they want to whine about how unfair our laws are?

"What about the children?" As I've said many times, this is the last bastion argument of a bleeding-heart liberal. Personally, I think hiding behind children is as low and cowardly as it gets but it's a common tactic of the pro-illegals. As we know, many illegals have children after they get here as a kind of insurance policy knowing that citizenship is automatic for those children and they are entitled to all rights, privilege and freebies as any other American child.

The worst and most groundlessly pathetic argument I hear is how it's so unfair that children get deported, along with their gate-crashing parents, and "...this is the only country they've ever really known. They don't even speak the language of their native countries because they were smuggled in at such an early age,..blah..blah..blah." Funny, didn't stop them from coming here, did it? But they try to use that as an excuse for why they shouldn't be tossed?

"Racists, xenophobes, nativists, haters, etc.. " I have no doubt that there is SOME racism, etc.. in SOME people. I've seen racism coming from both sides. But to try and brand most people that oppose illegal immigration and another amnesty with those titles is as lying and deceitful as it gets. The FACT is that illegal aliens are of every race and ethnicity.

There are plenty of Americans of all colors that oppose rewarding those that have shown such total contempt for our nation. Commonly, any "tan" American that stands up against the invaders is labeled a "traitor" by the pro-criminals. Sad, isn't it? An American willing to take a stand for our sovereignty and our laws is branded as a "traitor?"  Who are the real traitors? Those willing to take a stand for this nation or those that support surrender?

I say this very plainly to any American. Be proud. Be proud of your roots. Be proud of the contributions your fathers and mothers made to this great nation and it's colorful tapestry. But most of all, be proud to be an American.

Mayor Villaraigosa and others. Villaraigosa actually had the nerve to ask that ICE not conduct any "raids" of "responsible" businesses that employ illegals. He pulled one of those, "They need to go after "real criminals" and any raids would hurt L.A.'s economy. MY ASS. There was even a study put out by a pro-illegal business group about L.A. that was trying to pull one of those "The economy sky will fall" arguments.

Think about this for a second. If this DIPSHIT mayor really believes that law-enforcement should only target the worst of the worst then why doesn't he issue a mayorial edict to the police saying that they are no longer to issue speeding tickets, arrest shoplifters, or any other number of non-violent criminals? He only wants ICE, whose job is immigration enforcement, not to enforce immigration laws. Why not ask that the DEA stop enforcing drug laws unless the suspects are known to be armed? What kind of mindless bullshit are we hearing? I'm stunned by the total stupidity and "hands off" mentality of this moron towards illegals.

You think I'd make this up? Here's the link.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has asked the federal government to review its immigration enforcement priorities, warning that work-site raids on "non-exploitative" businesses could have "severe and lasting effects" on the local economy.

"I am concerned that ICE enforcement actions are creating an impression that this region is somehow less hospitable to these critical businesses than other regions," Villaraigosa wrote in a March 27 letter to Michael Chertoff, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

In his letter, Villaraigosa said ICE has targeted "established, responsible employers" in industries that have a "significant reliance on workforces that include undocumented immigrants."

"In these industries, including most areas of manufacturing, even the most scrupulous and responsible employers have no choice but to rely on workers whose documentation, while facially valid, may raise questions about their lawful presence," he wrote. He said ICE should spend its limited resources targeting employers who exploit wage and hour laws.

"At a time when we are facing an economic downturn and gang violence at epidemic levels, the federal government should focus its resources on deporting criminal gang members rather than targeting legitimate businesses," said Matt Szabo, the mayor's spokesman.
His hypocrisy is so glaring it makes me want to puke.
