Mayor of Brownsville, Tx is an idiot and possible traitor.
I understand some people getting really pissed about "The Fence." I understand that some areas of this country are nearly merged between Mexico and the US or Canada and the US. I understand how I might feel if, instead of a view of the country, I end up with a view of a fence. But, as a nation, we need to do more to secure our borders. The "Fence" is NOT going to solve our problems but can be very effective in some areas. Also, remember this: 10%, or more, of illegals coming across that border have criminal records. We need to do everything we can to keep them out.
This mayor made a comment that REALLY bites my ass. If he'd phrased it a little differently then maybe, though I'd disagree, it wouldn't bother me too much.
To what nation is your allegiance?
Brownsville Mayor Pat Ahumada called the Congressman a bigot, and said that the border wall project was a "racist thing." My ass.
"They're afraid of us Mexicans taking over politically, I think," he said in a television interview. What the hell? Are you a Mexican or an American? If you're a Mexican, Canadian, Irishman, etc.. then you sure as hell shouldn't be holding office in this country. Where is your allegiance?
