Mexico's culture of violence against women
Ok, a disclaimer. I am not trying to depict all Mexicans as child raping, wife beating, scumbags. My primary focus is illegal aliens no matter their ethnicity or nationalty. BUT I ran into this and it may me go, "Humm?" Could there be some tie-in to the rapes and assaults on women, that we see from some illegals, and their "culture." Sadly, I think so.
I think I posted a study from some school that showed a higher incidence of DUI attributed to "Hispanics." Somebody made a comment like, "We know there is a problem in the Hispanic community and we're trying to address it thru education..."
Honestly, it wasn't that long ago that DUIs in this country were a joke. Look at how John Wayne would get plastered and go driving around with his pals in the old movies. I think the same way about some wife abuse in this country. Incidents where the cops would come and just tell them to shut up. Now, we have laws in some places where somebody goes to jail, period.
But progress is hard to come by in a country where just a few years ago the punishment for killing a cow in some states was greater than for killing a woman.
A rapist in Mexico can still escape punishment in 21 states by claiming he was seeking to satisfy an erotic fantasy. He can escape punishment in 19 states if he later marries the victim. There are 31 states, total.
Six out of 10 Mexican women have suffered some form of violence inflicted by their spouses or partners, according to government studies. In 2006, more than 80 percent of women who were murdered were killed in their own homes.
The National Institute for Women in Mexico reports that twice as many Mexican women suffer abuse than the worldwide average.
"The problem is violence against women is ingrained in our culture," said Liliana Rojero Luevano, the institute's executive secretary. "It's considered natural."
Hence, since most illegals are Mexican nationals, and they have a culture of violence against women, would it be such a large leap of logic that it would spill over into this country?

I don't have a problem with a candidate reaching out to any group of Americans, but I do have a problem with "The Race." La Raza.
