2 illegals sentenced for raping underaged girls
This isn't causing me to have a meltdown but there was a comment at the end of the article that made me go, "Huh?"
Two men who pleaded guilty to rape charges involving girls ages 13 and 15 in an apartment they shared in Brewster were each sentenced yesterday to one year in the Putnam County jail.
Putnam County Judge James Reitz sentenced Pedro Sagastume, 22, and Jeremias Perez, 23, each to the one year as part of a plea agreement that prosecutors said was approved by the teenage victims and their families.
The two undocumented Guatemalans will also have to register as sex offenders prior to their release from jail and could face deportation. "COUlD face deportation?" Ahhh, I would hope so.
