85 illegals sentenced from meat plant raid

@ 03:16 PM (1 month, 16 days ago)

Excellent. Why screw around?  No need for long, drawn out court matters. Just fess up, take your punishment, and get out. That leaves a whole bunch more to go.

Boot them.

Federal prosecutors say 85 people arrested in last week's immigration raid at a meatpacking plant in Postville have been sentenced on federal charges.

They are part of a group of nearly 400 people arrested at the Agriprocessors plant.

They pleaded guilty yesterday in Waterloo. The U.S. attorney's office says it's the largest number of defendants to plead guilty and be sentenced in one day.

  2. I swear I've thought about how funny it would be to get like a UPS truck, paint it up in "ICE" looking logos, and simply drive thru some construction sites, park it outside a meat or carpet plant, that sort of thing. Illegals are so freaked out right now that even the rumor of a raid causes them to have tantrums. Yeah, it's "mean-spirirted" but I have a strange sense of humor.
