Mother of 7 killed on Mother's Day, ALLEGEDLY by drunken illegal.

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) — A Yamhill County grand jury indictment says a 26-year-old man has admitted drinking beer before a crash on Mother's Day that killed a mother of seven.

Authorities say Leonel Zurita-Loeza of Portland had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.

They say he was on diversion from a DUI charge and the car he was using had an emergency spare rated for 50 mph driving. What does "diversion from a DUI charge" mean? That he'd already been arrested for DUI and released? And nobody checked his immigration status? So he was released to repeat his offense and kill somebody?
