Never my intent to bash Mexicans, though I certainly have plenty to say about Mexico. The reason I post this story is because it's thin and looks like the perp is possibly an illegal. Also, keep in mind we have plenty of legal immigrants that are subject to deportation if they commit crimes while here. So, I don't know. And, not mentioned, is whether or not his victim and or her family were also illegals. As I know, plenty of illegal alien predators prey on their own.

Stop importing scum.

A 41-year-old Rocky Mount man pleaded guilty last week to five counts of raping a 9-year-old girl and was sentenced to 125 years in prison in Franklin County Circuit Court.

The guilty pleas were made by Ernest Delgado Amaya, who came to the U.S. from Mexico and doesn't speak English, through an interpreter, according to Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney Cliff Hapgood.

One hundred years of the sentence were suspended.

"The suspended sentence means that the earliest he can get out of prison is when he is 62 years old," said Hapgood. "That is unless immigration officials decide to take him back to Mexico. That could happen, but we couldn't wait around for that."
