Burning Atlanta

Basically, some jails are on the 287 (g) program and handle the whole illegal alien thing. Others are on a program where they call ICE and sometimes ICE picks up illegals, sometimes not. But when these jails talked about screening for illegals the pro-illegal bunch whined, as always, that it was going to lead to overcrowding. Why overcrowding? Boot their asses out and over to ICE. Less local dollars going to house these jerks.

Happens all the time, the only difference is that it's a "she" as the driver. They cram as many as possible in a vehicle that's not set up for that kind of load. The vihicle is unstable, they end up having a wreck. sometimes people die, and the driver hauls ass never to be seen again. There have been several instances I've written about where the damned smuggler jumped out of the vehicle as it was rolling down the road, leaving he occupants at the mercy of God.

These stories piss me off so badly that I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't keep some sedatives around here. Time after time after time after time, some damned illegal with all sorts of convictions is let back loose on our streets and, of course, goes on to commit more crimes.

Gordon's a spineless weasel and needs to go, along with the Phoenix police chief. Both are too busy kissing political ass to get the job done. I don't know how far they may get with this attempt at a recall but I wish them well. I'd laugh my ass off to see Gordon get the boot.

The guy's got a pair, a rare quality for politicians. They usually prefer to kiss everybody's ass, not make too many waves, make a lot of vague empty promises, then if they get elected they act like they never said a thing. Barletta is running for congress, I hope he wins.
