Mexico wants US to pay for rain damage
This is very funny in some ways. No, we shouldn't pull crap on them if that's what happened. Seems as though our people reduced the size of a tunnel to help stem the flow of illegals and drugs and, maybe, didn't survey exactly whose side of the border they were on. But I'll refer to some of the comments submitted to the article for my take.
Dear Mexico
Dear Mexico
Mexico has lodged a formal complaint against the United States for flood damage it claims was caused by a concrete barrier erected by the Border Patrol in a storm-water tunnel beneath Nogales.
The complaint points out how critical the issue is and asks for repairs or money for damage estimated at $8 million, said Carlos Marin, commissioner of the U.S. section of the International Boundary and Water Commission.
Marin, who was in Nogales, Ariz., on Wednesday to assess the situation, said he received the complaint letter Tuesday from the commissioner of the Mexican side of the commission, Arturo Herrera.

Let's send them a bill for all the medical, jail, rescue, environmental expenses, and illegal activity they have caused the U.S. If they would keep their drugs and crime and "crossers" on their side of the border we wouldn't need barriers. They were using these underground tunnel to smuggle drugs and people into the U.S. They need to take responsibility for being a terrible neighbor. I say not a peso for them.

Do you think that while they are measuring where the wall may lay on Friday that we could also run the VINs of all those Mexican cars damaged by the floodwaters?
