California trying to kill E-verify for government use

@ 01:38 PM (10 months, 18 days ago)
E-verify is one of the best tools employers can use to weed out illegals, that's why so many pro-illegal alien groups, plantation owners, etc.. oppose it. For a state to adopt pro-criminal policies blows my mind.

Seditious jerks

AB 2076, which would prohibit state agencies and local governments in California from using E-Verify, passed the Assembly and will probably receive a floor vote in the State Senate this week. The legislation would also discourage private employers from using the system.

Several states-including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Hawaii, Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia-have all enacted legislation to require the use of E-Verify or otherwise require public agencies or contractors to verify the employment eligibility of employees. Unfortunately, the California Legislature is moving in the opposite direction. The Alert letter has been updated, so please send it even if you have already sent one on this bill.
