Eww. This could prove interesting. Who prosecutes him, first? I believe Mexico is known to send some of the big bad types here rather than prosecute them. Probably out of fear of court house shootouts and bombings.

Gee, what a surprise. We've had any number of our people busted for aiding illegals, drug runners, whoever. Hardly any shock value in an "official" from Mexico being involved.

These spineless PC weasels know how people feel about coddling illegal alien criminals but they don't want to be called xenophobic or racist. Screw that, they need to take a stand as Americans.

I haven't heard this suggested from anyone else. Maybe someone has suggested it, but I haven't heard it and find it very interesting that Pelosi, of all people, would say such.

I'm so sick of this. Time after time after time. The typical classic example of an illegal who had been arrested multiple times but nobody either checked his immigration status or reported him to ICE. Or, maybe, ICE didn't take action. Not likely, they've become aggressive when it comes to drunk driving illegals.

We can't stop every gate crasher or those that have been deported earlier. But this is another of the many reasons why we need better and stronger borders.

Mexico continues it's fall into the abyss. Some say that our increased efforts at securing the border has put pressure on the drug cartels and that's why they've had a surge in violence fighting for control. I don't know, but I won't be traveling to Mexico anytime soon.

ACCUSED scum bucket
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Montgomery County (web|news)
police say they have DNA evidence linking a suspect to the murder of a
Bethesda woman who was killed in what police have called a series of
home-invasion robberies targeting elderly residents who were tied up.
Jose Juan Garcia-Perlera, 33, of Hyattsville, was arrested
Wednesday. He is charged with first-degree murder, four counts of
robbery and one count of armed robbery. Garcia-Perlera is currently
being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
Sources say Garcia-Perlera is an illegal immigrant who has been in
this country about six years. He was first developed as a suspect in an
August 28 burglary in Bethesda, police said.
When detectives searched his Hyattsville apartment, police say they
found articles stolen from several homes. A DNA test conclusively
linked Garcia-Perlera to the murder of Mary Frances Havenstein, 63, and
at least two other home-invasion robberies, police said.

People are either unaware this goes on or can't beleive it could happen. Happens all the time. There are countries that simply refuse to take their people back so we're stuck with them. I'd put the SOBs in a leaky raft just off the coast of their nearest home country and say "Good luck."

My first reaction to this was not good. But I'm thinking there's a whole lot not said that leaves me in the dark. The only things mentioned are that he killed a child and injured the mother as they tried to cross a street. It said he didn't have a license and that 9 months was the max penalty. It didn't say if they got plowed down in a crosswalk or what. It didn't say vehicular homicide, hit and run, he was DUI, etc... So, I'm left with a feeling that this death wasn't totally his fault. He might not have been at fault, at all.

Go cry to somebody else. I've heard all this crap a zillion times. Do we have an attitude of "Well, they're going to drive anyway so we might as well give them a license so, hopefully, they'll get insurance" when it comes to repeat DUI offenders, vehicular homicide offenders, or any other jerk that shouldn't be driving? NO!!! You get a few DUIs and they might yank your license forever. But when it comes to illegal aliens we're supposed to kiss their asses.

There's been all sorts of indications that illegals are leaving and fewer are trying to come. Excellent. We need to keep this up fro about 10 years or longer. Actually, we need to enforce our laws and secure the border and the whole problem will take care of itself. No jobs? No reason to come or stay.

One upon a time I got into a little online spat over illegal immigration with a woman who said she hired illegals to work at her motel. She tried to act like she was doing the world a favor by putting these poor people to work when, actually, she only cared about getting cheap labor. I mentioned in a not so nice way that anyone that ran such a business and didn't do background checks on their employees could be in a world of shit if one of their employees committed a crime against a guest.

I've become very tired of blogging on these stories. Some dipshit writer of an article I read today was moaning about 287(g) not being worthwhile because an illegal who had been deported snuck back across and was now wanted for a murder. Excuse me? I wonder how many crimes and deaths were prevented because of detecting and removing illegals that didn't come back?
