AGAIN, every jail in this nation should be doing the same thing. Thank you, Gwinnett. This helps the county, the state and the whole nation.

I harp and harp about this: EVERY jail in this country should do the same thing. If jails did as they should then there would be a lot fewer illegal alien criminals let loose on our streets, free to reoffend and commit more crimes.

They've already caught some crap from the pro-illegal thumb-suckers but I'm not so sure they have that much to worry about. I don't think they'll show how bad things really are along the border. BUT any light shed on the realities of the issue will cause the pro-illegal bunch to have a fit. I think it's going to be a very popular show. Certainly controversial.

I love the "suspected" "alleged" thing. Basically, unless they're convicted or somebody of legal status says so, the perp is always a suspect.
Thank you, Officer. Glad you weren't killed.

Actually, I've heard of similair sries byt nothing really specific comes to min. Well, there's a judge somewhere that may give them the short sentence boot but also puts out a warrant for their arrest. Why? That way, if they enter the country again after agreeing not to come back, they may be subject to arrest and serve out their full sentences.
Bennett
State Sen. Mike Bennett again wants to offer non-violent immigrant prisoners a one-way ticket home.Bennett,
R-Bradenton, has re-filed a proposal that would deport such state
prisoners to their home countries if they agree to leave in exchange
for serving less than their full sentences. A similar measure he filed
in the last legislative session died in committee and got a lukewarm
response from Gov. Charlie Crist, who opposes early release.
But
Bennett said Thursday the plan “is a no-brainer” that would remove
immigrant criminals and save money at the same time.
“Getting them out of here for a $600 plane ticket instead of $20,000 a
year to keep them (in prison), I’m all for that idea,” he said.
Bennett’s
bill would order state prison and federal immigration officials to
implement the federal Rapid REPAT (Removal of Eligible Parolees
Accepted for Transfer) program in Florida.
Under the program,
legal and illegal immigrants who are serving time in state prison for
non-violent crimes would be eligible for conditional early release if
they have a final deportation order against them. They also must waive
any right to appeal their state convictions and agree not to return to
the United States.

MEXICO
CITY (AP) - A well-known U.S. anti-kidnapping expert has himself fallen
victim to the wave of abductions in Mexico as unidentified assailants
snatched him from a street in the northern state of Coahuila. Local authorities say American Felix Batista
was in Mexico to give talks and offer advice against kidnapping. The
former U.S. army officer sometimes serves as a negotiator with
kidnappers.
Batista is a consultant for the Houston, Texas-based security firm ASI Global LLC.

Too funny and happens on a regular basis. Seems I remember some report of illegal aliens were oncle part of the crew that took care of Tancredo's place. And they just busted some Immigration higher up for hiring and aiding illegals at her house. Didn't want to get rid of good, cheap help.

It's not Hollywood doing another remake that bothers me, there are tons of remakes. Look at all the Draculas through the years. What grates my cheese is them putting a typical Hollywood leftist slant on a classic. The slant on this movie is that Klaatu and company come to Earth to wipe out the humans, not the planet. They're pissed the humans have trashed the planet. But get real, are they going to do another version of the Titanic where Somali pirates take it over and they sink it, not an iceberg?

The pro-illegal bunch doesn't want to admit that enforcement works. They want to maintain the argument that enforcement, alone, will not solve the problem. I disagree. I think enforcement is the key to solving the problem and I'm not the only one. Look back to what Simpson and Mazolli had to say about why the last amnesty failed.

Their paper did a story about the number of illegal aliens arrested and simply let go. Some were violent criminals ordered deported long ago. But, as is typical with many jails around the country, these incompetent jerks weren't reporting them. Of course there was the usual finger pointing, "It's not us, it's ICE" kinda crap.Anyway, now they are , at least, targeting the violent illegal aliens for deportation. ALL illegal aliens should be targeted for deportation.

Might I mention AGAIN about screening everyone arrested?
Sickening.
The three people accused of murdering and then burning the body of an
83-year-old Wheaton woman last week are illegal immigrants, a
Montgomery County jail official said Wednesday. Federal
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents issued warrants for Ramon
Alvarado, Jose Alvarado and Ana Rodas on Wednesday afternoon, jail
director Arthur Wallenstein said.
Wallenstein said that half of the 16 jail inmates accused of murder are illegal immigrants.
Cousins
Jose and Ramon Alvarado were in jail in connection with the beating
death of Lila Meizel. Police say the cousins lighted the woman’s body
on fire to cover up a check fraud scheme. Rodas allegedly helped the
two kill Meizel.
Both Alvarado cousins had
prior criminal records in Montgomery County. Jose, 37, for check fraud
and Ramon, 32, for driving a car without a license or registration,
court records show. Rodas, 32, has no criminal history.
The
recent spate of high-profile killings allegedly committed by illegal
immigrants who had criminal histories has county officials re-examining
the policy of not checking the immigration status of people the county
detains, said Montgomery County executive spokesman Patrick Lacefield.

Good.CEDAR RAPIDS -
U.S. Magistrate Jon Scoles on Monday denied a motion by former
Agriprocessors Inc. CEO Sholom Rubashkin to extend the deadline on
filing an appeal of the detention order.Scoles ordered Rubashkin, 49, of Postville, last month to remain in custody until his trial in January.Prosecutors
last month argued Rubashkin should remain in custody because he
attempted to tamper with evidence when he was released from jail the
initial charges of harboring illegal immigrants, document fraud and
identity theft. They also argued he was a flight risk because a bag of
cash and birth certificates, Social Security cards and passports for
his children were found during a search of his residence.Rubashkin
was charged last month with 12 counts of harboring undocumented aliens
for profit, conspiracy to commit document fraud, conspiracy to harbor
undocumented aliens for profit, aiding and abetting document fraud, six
counts of aiding and abetting aggravated identity theft and two counts
of bank fraud. The charges are related to a May immigration raid at the kosher meat processing plant in Postville.

I don't want Hispanics to leave, I want illegal aliens to leave. Hispanic Americans are as good a group of American citizens as anybody else. Sadly, most of our illegal aliens are Hispanics. Hence, many indicators that "Hispanics" are leaving an area are construed to mean "illegal aliens" are leaving.
