Generally, somebody verifies that petitions have enough valid signatures. I hope the Shaw's meet that burden. Sadly, knowing how candy-assed politicians operate, even if the people get the chance to pass this the weasels will try and find ways to avoid it.
Basically, the proposed law demands that loca law enforcement be proactive in targeting illegal alien gang members. Good idea. No more cops waving as they pass some jerk that was deported 3 weeks before.
