Maryland county sees the light. Helps ICE detain illegal aliens
Excellent. This county checks illegals and if they're wanted they are holding them for, now, 48 hours so that ICE can get them.
Anne Arundel County
The new policy will hold wanted immigrants up to two days. It applies to people who are not facing local charges, but come to the attention of local police for other reasons. Most commonly, these immigrants are stopped for traffic infractions and officers find the immigrants' names in a database of people wanted by federal authorities. These gate-crashers could be wanted for any number of crimes.
Now listen the textbook bullshit of the pro-illegal liars.

"We think that cracking down on generally law-abiding undocumented
immigrants in lieu of doing comprehensive immigration reform is a bad
idea," said Kerry O'Brien, senior legal manager of CASA de Maryland. "Generally, law abiding." Too funny. They don't give a damn about the law or they wouldn't be here.
"Somebody with a busted tail light ends up in jail for six months and gets sent back to their home country," she added. Ahhh, excuse me? They're not being held for a broken tai light. They're being held because they show up as "WANTED" for whatever other crimes.
