Illegal gets life sentence for raping 14 year-old girl

Sorry I haven't been posting but I'm still in the middle of a move back to Atlanta. My 22" LCD and wi-fi adapter came in today. No way I wanted to lug around a 20" CRT. I gave it away.

A 30-year-old New Braunfels man was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison Monday for raping and beating a 14-year-old girl in her home in August 2007.

Jose Rivera had said he drove a one-armed man to the house on the west side of New Braunfels but knew nothing of the attack on the girl inside. The one-armed man, Joe Saucedo, a friend of the family of the victim, apparently has left the area and prosecutors could not find him for the trial.

“Is your story the one-armed man did it?” prosecutor Sammy McCrary asked.


As she testified, she noticed Rivera was wearing the same shoes as when he assaulted her.

A witness also saw Rivera's truck and a man fitting Rivera's description outside the house. Rivera's fingerprint was found on the can of mousse, and semen with DNA that matched Rivera's was found when the victim was examined.

The jury found Rivera guilty of aggravated sexual assault, injury to a child and burglary. He will be eligible for parole in 30 years.

Dude watched too many movies...wasn't that the fugitive?..."It wasn't me it was the one armed man"......."I don't care"....lol.......Hey burnsey some new material out of Az. for ya....MALDEF is suing an Arizona land owner for (get this crap) violating the civil rights of illegal aliens, by holding them at gunpoint, when they cut his fences and try to raid his farm for food and water and machinery......and he calls border patrol and they pick them up......so the asswipes at MALDEF are mad at him.........and I think the ACLU is trying to get involved also....go figure....riff
