This gets so old. No, I'm not trying to claim that all Hispanics or illegals are rapists but there is a cultural thing going on with some illegals and rape. I've posted about that before. How, in some countries, rape isn't looked at in the same way as it is here. I posted about an incident involving a very young Liberian girl who was assaulted by other Liberian immigrants. I don't know jack about their "culture" but I do know that rape wasn't illegal until a few years back.

Anyway, in the first article it doesn't mention they're illegals. In the second article it mentions that and other things scuh as another sexual assault they may have been involved in.

Rapists

ORLANDO, Fla. — Two men were convicted Friday of kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old central Florida girl.

I'm not the sports fan I was in my 20s but have followed Tech and the Bulldogs over the past few years. Typically, if I happen to catch anybody else playing, all I'm hoping for is a good game, not a blow-out, and one that is decided in the last couple of minutes. Love those nail biter endings. Also, when I don't have a favorite, I cheer for the underdog.

Mississippi State. Oh, how I was cheering for you guys when you played Number 1 Florida. I think I came in about the 2nd quarter and you stayed within 3 points until the last so many minutes of the game. You guys stand proud. Understand? Yeah, a miracle upset would have made most of the country hoot and holler. Not that they didn't like Florida but when the big dog gets beat by the little dog, well, that's the kind of upset that makes people go, "WHAT? Dayum."

Honestly, I haven't seen where Tech has played really, really well but they keep winning! Including upsetting the Hokies. Hey, Hokies. I like you guys and usually route for you but not against Ga. Tech. Anyway, Ga. Tech is now listed in 11th place in the nation. Huh? Yep, that's right. And could move up a slot or two before they're done. The big game is the potential clencher for division champion in the ACC Coastal Conference. They need to beat Duke.

Anyway, there's a kinda trendy "rap" song that some of the Tech fans and players have latched onto. So, for your entertainment. I'll post another video of the song. The chorus works but I'm not so sure about the rest of it. This is from the upset of Virginia Tech. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEosUaz9UqE]

I've grown sooo tired of the politically correct crap coming from such liberal rags as the Atlanta Journal. The AJC happens to own like the largest Hispanic paper in this side of the country and are pro-amnesty as hell. Their snot-nosed editors like Cynthia Tucker like to use that bogus framing of such arguments something like this:

An earned legalization plan for these good, hard working people is the only rational, reasonable, logical thing to do. But the small but vocal minority of anti-immigrant extremists will settle for nothing less than cattle cars and barbed wire.

Just wait and see. As for this story, notice that the scumbag is not identified as an illegal, only as a Mexican national. Ewww, wouldn't want to fan the flames of anti-immigrant hysteria. I didn't find him clearly identified as an illegal in an earlier article but certainly sounds like it.

Pink Bulls-Eye undies for this perp, please.

(Atlanta) Mexican national Miguel Rugerio pleaded guilty to sex trafficking charges today in federal court in Atlanta.

young women from Mexico to the U.S. for purposes of prostitution.

Then there's this earlier article from a different source.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- It's something we're beginning to hear a lot
more of: human sex trafficking of illegal immigrants. And, many times,
the traffickers are illegal themselves.

In the latest case, US
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and FBI agents raided
homes in three different Gwinnett County apartment complexes.

According
to a federal criminal complaint, a confidential source contacted the
FBI "about a group of Hispanic pimps operating in and around Atlanta".
The pimps are alleged to use drivers to transport girls to various
locations for prostitution. One of the drivers was actually the
informant in this particular case; that driver disclosed the
information upon learning one of the prostitutes was a relative.

At
the Lakeview Estates apartments in Norcross, one of the ringleaders of
the trafficking ring, Miguel Angel Rugerio, was arrested. Three young
girls who had been forced into prostitution were removed from the home.

Anyway, not said and is often the case with Mexican drug cartel members, there are often some illegals caught up in the mix. I always try to remember to share this one caveat: It's wrong to assume that Mexican , Canadian, Somalian, whatever, nationals are also illegals. It's simply something that we see on a regular basis. I'm sure that not all of those busted are illegals, and I'm fairly sure some are illegals.

I'm so tired of candy-assed police chiefs, etc.. using that bogus BS vomit about how illegal immigration is a federal matter and they don't want to get involved. Or the crap about how illegals won't report crimes or how we need to build bridges with the "immigrant community" not build walls... Ehhh. Makes me puke.

Thankfully, there are some in law enforcement that have a clue and a spine.

Sheriff Warren

It was with no small degree of interest that I read Atlanta Police
Chief Richard Pennington's comments in the Atlanta newspaper regarding
the implementation of the Immigration & Customs Enforcement 287(g)
program in Cobb County. Of particular note was his concern that Cobb's
participation in the program might harm inroads he was trying to make
into the Latino community in Atlanta and his opinion that this was not
the best use of our law enforcement resources. I respectfully disagree
with him of these assertions.

What he and perhaps many amnesty
advocates fail to recognize is that the 287(g) program in Cobb County
only affects illegal aliens coming into jail custody charged with local
offenses. With or without the program, the Sheriff's Office is required
to identify foreign nationals pursuant to the provisions of the Vienna
Convention. These individuals must be advised of their right to contact
their embassy and in many instances it is incumbent upon the jail staff
to notify the embassy of the incarceration, regardless of what the
arrestee might want.

One of the primary advantages of the
287(g) program is the access it affords to ICE resources which assist
in the accurate identification of the arrestees. This, in turn, not
only helps ensure proper notification but not infrequently results in
the determination that the offender is also wanted for criminal
offenses in other jurisdictions.

Another fact that he may have
overlooked is that oftentimes the illegal immigrants coming into jail
custody are being arrested for preying on the immigrant community.
Taking these offenders out of the community makes it much safer for
everyone.

It is unfortunate that a large number of immigrants
have chosen to place themselves in a compromised position by entering
this country illegally. However, that should never be used as an excuse
or justification by a law enforcement agency for failing to effectively
and fairly enforce our laws.
This is a shameless plug for a local eatery that I use on a regular basis. They're in the Vista Grove shopping center about 4 blocks from LaVista and Clairmont. I know Google has a tendency to add these kind of headings to their Search engine so I'm hoping this appears if anyone's looking for chow. Nothing fancy about this little place. No big, long food bar. Not tons of offerings. Just good, home cooking, which is getting hard to find. The $5 special is a deal. A meat, 2 veggies and a roll or cornbread. Usually, I get 3 at a time.

I've never been thrilled or disappointed with their food, it's simply rock solid consistent. Good chow. Unlike Piccadilly which was an ongoing disappointment and pricier. Ms. Laura usually serves while Ms. Annie is in the back tending the next round. I don't mean to "diss" Al or the other woman that I sometimes see but Laura and Annie are usually there, I see them the most often. In short, "No," it's not going to be the very best mac and cheese you ever had or, maybe, the best chicken you ever had but it's always going to be good. Always.

You like greens, limas, greens beans, squash, yams, mac and cheese, blackeyed peas, etc? You like chicken, meat loaf, country fried steak, pork chops, fish, etc..? The entrees and sides usually change a little, day to day, but not much. And that's just fine with me. Not all entrees fall into the $5 special. Think they charge more for the fish, pork chops, whatever and they don't serve those every day. But I know that every time I go there I can find 3 plates of food with my name on them.

Oh, I usually go afternoons and never find them crowded. Which is, also, a big plus in my book. So, by posting this and hoping to send them more business I'm kind of at odds with myself but I hope they're always there.
Most of the focus, as we know, has been on health-care and the growing deficit. But, trust me, the issue of illegal immigration hasn't gone away. It will return with a vengeance, probably a few months after the health-care thing has settled down. Personally, I think Obama would have to be totally out of his mind to push for another amnesty at this point in time. We'll see.

Turf battles between rival drug cartels, and between authorities and

There were 305 drug-related killings in August, making it the deadliest
month yet, according to the mayor's office.

Most of the recent
violence has been committed by young street-level drug dealers who work

In the past 45 days, 10 percent of those killed in Juarez had been
deported from the United States in the past two years, Reyes Ferriz
said.

"We don't have the statistics to know if they were
criminals from the United States or not," he told CNN's Rick Sanchez
this week. "We know they were deported from the U.S. Most of them come
from U.S. jails. They end up in the city of Juarez, and that's a

According to a report released last week by a Mexican watchdog group,

This kind of "culture" we can live without.

Another point I've made several times: We need to educate immigrants as to our laws and our customs, our norms of right and wrong. According to Phoenix police, the girl was lured to a storage shed at an
apartment complex on July 16. The four boys, who had offered the girl
chewing gum, allegedly restrained and sexually assaulted her. At a news
conference about the case Wednesday, police did not release any
information on the girl's condition, but officers called the case one
of the worst they have investigated in many years.

The victim and the boys charged are all from refugee families that
have come to the United States from the war-torn West African nation of
Liberia, police said.

Detectives said the girl was placed in the custody of Phoenix child protective services after the attack because of her parents' attitude toward her.

"The parents felt that they had been shamed or embarrassed by their child," Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill said.

CNN affiliate KTVK said it interviewed the girl's 23-year-old

alleged attack.

The sister, who was not identified by name by
the station, expressed mixed feelings about her sister's attack. "I
came to her and said it's not good for you to be following guys because
you are still little," the sister told KTVK. She also said that she
wanted the suspects to be released from jail because "we are the same
people."

"When she comes back I'm going to tell her don't ever

Tony Weedor, a Liberian who fled civil war with his family and now

he said.

"The family [believes they] have been shamed by her,
not a crime, but the name of the family has been degraded and news will
get back to Liberia.
And they're more concerned about that than the crime," said Weedor, who

I'm stunned at the stupidity. No, I don't advocate for people that abuse their wives. Unless, of course, the wives are into that sort of thing, you know what I mean? (wink) I really shouldn't make light of it.

I'll never advocate for such a weak-kneed policy. I'm sorry the world isn't perfect. I'm sorry for the hungry children in, you name the country. I'm sorry for every wrong thing in this world. BUT to give asylum to spouses who claim abuse is way over the edge. Especially to a nation like ours that has more legal immigration than any other. That takes in more "refugees" than any other. And a nation whose immigration policies have been abused and ignored by millions for years.

Things are so bad with some immigrants seeking to get other friends and or family here, that they lie like hell on forms claiming whomever is a close relative. And some of our immigration people are asking for DNA tests, and some of these lying weasels are being caught.

I think this is insane. They can't escape in their own countries? They can't move? I've got an idea. Give them all a copy of "The Burning Bed" and a pack of matches. That was the true story of an American wife that was abused for years by her husband. So, one night she torched the place while he was in bed. No more wife beating, no more husband. Problem solved. They made a couple of movies about it, one with Farah.

Update: Found out that such status has been around for a while but, seems, wasn't happening under Bush. But, now, the Obama group is opening that door, again. Also, there's a cap on the number of "refugees" this country takes in annually, supposedly.

This country needs a spine.

The Department of Homeland Security has opened the door to the possibility that immigrants who have been victims of domestic violence could qualify for asylum.

The move, a change from the Bush administration, came to light when the government asked that the case of a Mexican woman who claims she was severely beaten by her common-law husband be sent back to an immigration court for further review.

Department of Homeland Security spokesman Matthew Chandler said Wednesday the agency "continues to view domestic violence as a possible basis for asylum in the United States."

The woman's bid for asylum was turned down by an immigration judge in San Francisco a few years ago, and she appealed to the Board of Immigration Appeals in Arlington, Va. The department urged that the case get further review, saying that in some cases, but not all, foreign domestic violence victims could be granted asylum.

Chandler said asylum claims based on domestic violence claims are "highly complex, and we are interested in developing regulations that will address these cases."

And innocent people and police officers pay, dearly, everyday for the lack of enforcement in this country.

Another cop died because of weak-kneed, "not our job," candy-assed appeasers and non-enforcement from our government.
